Fennell Tyres International, part of the Magna Tyres Group, is expanding its operations in Western Australia’s South West through the acquisition of Bunbury’s Tyre Specialists.
From 17 August 2026, the Bunbury operation will become part of Fennell Tyres International, extending the company’s regional service network and strengthening its ability to serve customers across Perth and regional Western Australia.
The acquisition builds on Fennell Tyres International’s expansion since joining the Magna Tyres Group in 2020. The company provides tyre solutions to customers across the transport, construction, industrial and earthmoving sectors.
The agreement also builds on a long-standing relationship between Aldo Gismondi, Director of Magna Tyres Australia, and Bevan Dillon, Director of Bunbury’s Tyre Specialists. Their collaboration has developed over several years around shared priorities in customer service and the tyre industry.
“This acquisition represents an exciting opportunity to further strengthen our service network across Western Australia,” said Gismondi. “Bunbury’s Tyre Specialists has built an outstanding reputation throughout the Southwest, and together we look forward to delivering even greater value and service to our customers.”
Approximately five employees from Bunbury’s Tyre Specialists will join Fennell Tyres International as part of the transaction. The Bunbury location will continue operating throughout the transition and will trade under the Fennell Tyres International name. Existing customer contacts and applicable service contracts will remain in place.
“The relationship between our organisations has developed over many years, making this a natural progression,” said Dillon. “We are proud of the reputation Bunbury’s Tyre Specialists has established and are excited about the opportunities this acquisition will create for our customers and our team.”
The addition of the Bunbury operation forms part of Fennell Tyres International’s longer-term strategy to expand its regional service capabilities and strengthen its presence across Western Australia’s metropolitan and regional markets.
