Chapman Freeborn has reported a strong start to 2026, with its UAE office exceeding monthly targets across passenger, cargo and ACMI charter operations in January. The performance marks a positive opening for the company’s IMEA region, which covers India, the Middle East and Africa.
All three operational divisions performed above plan, supported by steady regional charter demand, close collaboration between teams and consistent execution across operational units. While the results reflect only the first month of the year, they indicate stable and active operations at the company’s UAE hub.
The passenger charter division delivered the strongest performance, reaching 140 percent of its January target under the leadership of Claudia Krajhanzl. The cargo division, led by Gerhard Coetzee, achieved 170 percent of its target, driven by a combination of regional logistics activity and intercontinental charter shipments. The ACMI division, headed by Daniel Huggins, reached 107 percent of its monthly target, reflecting continued airline demand for short-term capacity and operational support.
Linas Dovydenas, President IMEA at Chapman Freeborn, said the results reflect both sustained market demand and the experience of regional teams. Although it remains early in the year, he noted that the January performance provides confidence that UAE operations are well positioned to support customers as charter aviation requirements continue to evolve across the region.
Looking ahead, the company expects charter demand across the IMEA region to remain dynamic throughout 2026. Airlines, logistics providers and corporate customers are likely to continue relying on flexible charter solutions to respond to shifting operational needs, supporting Chapman Freeborn’s broader objectives for the year.
