Trans Global Projects Launches Dedicated Airfreight Department in Bremen

Rate this post

Trans Global Projects (TGP) has launched a dedicated airfreight department in Bremen, strengthening its capabilities for time-critical and complex cargo. The new department operates under its own IATA license, giving TGP full compliance and direct control over its airfreight operations.

As part of the expansion, Tobias Teichmann has joined the company as Head of Airfreight Germany. He brings more than a decade of experience in managing complex airfreight projects. His background includes senior roles at Alexander Global Logistics and nearly ten years at Kopf & Lübben, where he specialised in charter solutions and engineered transport. He also holds a Certified Transport Specialist qualification from DAV.

The Bremen operation complements TGP’s established airfreight expertise, including long-standing airfreight and air charter operations in Switzerland and specialised capabilities in Brazil. These locations have supported urgent and oversized cargo movements for years, delivering tailored charter solutions and engineering-driven planning for complex shipments.

In October, TGP was awarded Airfreight Solution of the Year by Heavy Lift and Project Forwarding Magazine for transporting a six-ton slewing ring from Germany to China in record time. The project involved custom engineering and innovative load planning to fit the cargo into a Boeing 777F, saving more than 30 days compared to ocean transport.

The same focus on speed, safety and flexibility will define the Bremen department, which is set to serve as a key hub for urgent airfreight and engineered solutions across Europe and beyond.
