Noatum Logistics, part of AD Ports Group and one of the leading global logistics providers, has announced the acquisition of 152 long-haul Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks to strengthen its freight forwarding operations in the Middle East.
The expansion will increase Noatum’s fleet from 450 to over 600 vehicles, boosting regional transport capacity by 6,000 tonnes. The new trucks will support key sectors such as energy, food & FMCG, automotive, healthcare, and defence, handling containerised, reefer, and loose cargo.
Equipped with Euro 5 diesel engines, the vehicles will help reduce nitrogen oxide and particulate emissions, aligning with Noatum’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The move reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability and efficient supply chain management across the region.
Samir Chaturvedi, CEO of Noatum Logistics, said: “Expanding our regional fleet with more efficient and sustainable solutions is not just an investment in our operations—it’s an investment in our customers.”
The trucks will be fully integrated into Noatum’s advanced Control Tower telematics system by Q2 2025. This GPS-based platform enables real-time monitoring of vehicle movements and driver behavior, ensuring enhanced safety, operational efficiency, and service reliability.
With operations in 26 countries, Noatum Logistics continues to strengthen its presence in the Middle East while offering seamless global supply chain solutions.
