MAX Trailer has unveiled its latest innovation, the MAX710 lowbed trailer, designed to handle higher payloads with superior efficiency. This new addition, available in 6-, 7-, or 8-axle configurations, sets new benchmarks in compactness, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.

The MAX710 is built on a modular system, comprising a gooseneck, a removable front bogie with two or three axles, a lowbed—either an excavator deck or outer beams—and a rear bogie with four or five axles. “As always with MAX Trailer, this solution maintains our high standards and top-tier quality,” says Mario Faymonville, Product and Sales Manager at MAX Trailer.

The gooseneck boasts a technical fifth wheel load of 38 tonnes and is compatible with 6×4 or 8×4 tractor units. An optional radio remote control enhances the hydraulic functions. The bogies feature proven 19.5-inch pendle axles, ensuring stability and maneuverability, even on challenging terrain.

A key highlight of the MAX710 is its exceptionally compact front bogie, designed to minimize overall vehicle length. Available in 2- or 3-axle configurations, it can be transported on the lowbed for unladen journeys. The extendable lowbed is available in two versions: an excavator deck with adjustable mattresses and a model with outer beams and a fixed loading floor.

Equipped with a newly developed bolt coupling, the rear bogie is more compact than comparable models, optimizing length. A 900-millimeter-wide excavator trough ensures secure transport of machine booms. “The MAX710 combines modularity, standardization, and long-term flexibility,” states Faymonville. Customers can further customize their trailers by purchasing individual compatible components, with full metallization ensuring durability and corrosion resistance.
