Chapman Freeborn has reported a 48% increase in the number of women in management positions over the past year, alongside a 9% rise in female employees across the company. The company has also expanded its total workforce by 3%, following significant investment in recruitment, training, and retention.

Laura Smith, Senior UK HR Business Partner at Chapman Freeborn, emphasized the company’s commitment to merit-based progression: “Chapman Freeborn has a culture that prioritizes ability and performance over individual characteristics. We are working towards an even split of men and women, in contrast to the wider aviation industry, where the balance remains as skewed as 80-20, men to women.”

Smith acknowledged the need for continued progress but reaffirmed the company’s dedication to fostering an inclusive workplace: “There is still much more work to do, but we will continue bolstering and celebrating our colleagues, regardless of their gender identity.”

These achievements follow recent industry accolades, with Chapman Freeborn being named Best Full-Service Charter Company at the Aviation Achievement Awards and securing the Air Charter Broker of the Year title at the Payload Asia Awards for the second consecutive year.
