Chapman Freeborn has reorganized its European cargo operations to strengthen its presence in traditional markets while expanding into new sectors.
James Gilliard is now Vice President of Cargo Sales, focusing on client acquisition and market expansion, while Markus Schmidt serves as Vice President of Cargo Commercial Operations, overseeing brokerage operations. Both report to Reto Hunziker, President of Europe.
“This strategy positions us to seize growth opportunities in energy and government sectors while maintaining high service standards,” said Gilliard.
Additionally, a general sales agent in Eastern Europe has been appointed to enhance EU coverage and diversify the sales base.
“This restructure allows closer engagement with customers and better alignment with market trends,” noted Schmidt.
