MacGregor Secures Order for 12 Car and Truck Carriers

MacGregor, a subsidiary of Cargotec, has secured an order to supply cargo access equipment for 12 Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs) for CIDO Shipping, with an option for eight more vessels. The ships will be built at China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. (CMHI), and deliveries will start in the second quarter of 2026, finishing by the end of 2029.

The contract covers design and key components for ramps, car decks, and installation assistance. MacGregor’s strong relationship with both CMHI and CIDO Shipping was crucial in winning the deal, highlighting the company’s reliable, high-quality solutions.
