Cometto has introduced the Eco500, a powerful and modular transport solution designed for a range of intralogistics tasks, including logistics, port operations, and factory relocations. Adrian Zingan, Product Manager at Cometto, highlighted the vehicle’s compact design and its ability to handle challenging transport tasks with a basic width of just 2,350mm.
The Eco500 shines in various industries, including mechanical engineering, aerospace, energy, and infrastructure projects. It remains fully functional even at a low driving height of 670mm and offers agile maneuverability with its electronic multi-mode steering. The vehicle’s robust chassis ensures flexible load distribution.
Modular in design, the Eco500 can be equipped with two or four axle lines, with the option to add “joker axles” for additional flexibility. Multiple Eco500s can be combined to tackle heavier tasks, and spacers can be installed for longer loads.
The Eco500 offers electric, hybrid, and diesel-powered models, catering to the growing demand for emission-free driving in factories. Its software is compatible with all generations of Cometto vehicles, ensuring a future-proof investment. The integrated Telemakhos remote diagnosis system allows global remote intervention, while the MAXProtect+ surface treatment provides long-term corrosion protection.
With its compact pendulum suspension, the Eco500 offers maximum safety and ground clearance, building on Cometto’s decades of experience in self-propelled transport solutions. The Eco500 is set to enhance Cometto’s role in the intralogistics sector and beyond.
