VINCI Concessions, through its subsidiary SunMind, has agreed to acquire 100% of Helios, a Swedish company specializing in developing solar farms and energy storage batteries. Helios operates primarily in Sweden and the Baltic countries, advancing projects to the Ready to Build (RTB) stage.

Currently, 40%-owned by the Norwegian investment fund Magnora ASA, Helios also has its management team and minority investors among its shareholders. The acquisition deal, valued at €73 million, includes a share of Helios’ revenues over the next five years. The transaction is expected to be finalized in June, pending regulatory approvals.

This acquisition will enhance SunMind’s renewable solar energy expertise. Notably, in Sweden, SunMind is developing a 100 MWp photovoltaic project at Skavsta airport, formerly managed by VINCI Airports. SunMind also operates in France, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.
