Aircraft charter specialist Air Charter Service (ACS) has opened its third UK office in Manchester, marking its first location in the north of England. This expansion aims to support ACS’s growing client base in the region’s thriving technology and sports markets.
Justin Bowman, ACS’s Chief Executive, explained the strategic choice: “Manchester, now the second most populous city in the UK, is a renowned technology and creative hub. It’s the fastest-growing city in the North of England, with an economy expected to grow at an annual rate of 2.5% over the next two years.”
The north-west region, particularly Manchester, is also a major hub for football, with six Premier League teams within a 40-mile radius. ACS, a leader in aircraft charters for the football industry, has arranged over 1,500 contracts in the past five years. The new Manchester office, led by Alex Sadat-Shafai, aims to further increase this business.
Alex commented, “I moved here over a year ago to prepare for this office opening. Now that we have the right setup, I’m excited to work with the new team and continue supporting our sports charter operations in the region.”
