Embarking on a significant refurbishment endeavor within London’s Bloomsbury conservation area, Mace Interiors is orchestrating the transformative renewal of 21 Bloomsbury Street. In this ambitious 85,000 sq. ft office space revitalization project, Wolffkran has been selected to provide lifting solutions across three distinct phases, each designed with sustainability at its core.

The recently installed WOLFF 100 B tower crane stands as a testament to the project’s commitment to efficiency and eco-conscious practices. Featuring a 40 m jib and windsail, the crane reaches a height of 31.5 m. Its mounting, using unbolted Spigots with a 1.5 m wide base tower section, showcases advanced engineering. During the erection process, the crane was securely tied directly to the slab on the 6th floor, employing a steel arrangement around the tower to eliminate moments and ensure stability.

Noteworthy in the 21 Bloomsbury Street project is the preservation of 95% of the original building structure, underscoring a conscientious effort to minimize the carbon footprint.
