Jérôme Petit Joins Bolloré Logistics as Deputy Managing Director

Following a thirty-year career with the Bolloré Group, Jérôme Petit assumes the position of Deputy Managing Director at Bolloré Logistics. With a wealth of international experience, Petit joins CEO Thierry Ehrenbogen in their joint mission to support the growth of Bolloré Logistics and further expand its global network.

Thierry Ehrenbogen commended Petit’s exceptional performance in his previous roles, expressing full confidence in his ability to lead Bolloré Logistics to great success. Acknowledging Petit’s deep understanding of the company and its network, Ehrenbogen emphasized the value this brings to both employees and customers. He believes that Petit’s leadership will enable the company to overcome challenges and provide customers with increasingly efficient and competitive solutions.

Jérôme Petit completed his education at Kedge Business School Marseille, graduating with distinction. He further honed his expertise by earning an MBA from INSEAD in 1997. Petit joined the Bolloré Group in 1990, commencing his career in the Middle East before spending nearly a quarter-century in Asia. During his time there, he played a pivotal role in establishing numerous subsidiaries and assumed the position of CEO for the ASPAC region from 2004 until his return to France in 2016. Upon rejoining the Head Office in Puteaux, he was appointed CEO Africa at Bolloré Logistics, later transitioning to Africa Global Logistics, where he served as CEO until May 2023.

Expressing his gratitude for the trust placed in him by the Bolloré Group, Jérôme Petit welcomed this new professional opportunity with honor. He acknowledged that the months ahead would likely be marked by a significant organizational transformation. Petit emphasized the importance of supporting the planned sale of Bolloré Logistics to the CMA CGM Group, recognizing it as a crucial step in preparing for the future under the best possible conditions and ensuring the success of this major turning point.
