Denzai Vietnam Corp. has mobilised a 1,250-tonne crawler crane for lifting operations on the dome roof of the VinFast – Trong Dong Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Working for TCE Equipment and Service JSC on the Vingroup development, Denzai will carry out the roof lifting scope from October 2026 through to June 2027.

The crawler crane has been configured with a 102-metre luffing jib, providing the reach and lifting height required for installation of the stadium’s large steel dome structure.

The VinFast – Trong Dong Stadium forms the centrepiece of Vingroup’s Hung Vuong International Sports Complex in southern Hanoi. Designed for 135,000 spectators, the circular venue measures approximately 408 metres in diameter.

Its architectural form draws inspiration from the Dong Son bronze drum, while the steel dome roof will incorporate a section designed to open and close automatically.

Construction of the stadium began in December 2025, with completion targeted for July 2027.

Denzai’s 1,250-tonne crawler crane will remain on site throughout the company’s lifting programme, handling the roof installation as the stadium structure progresses towards completion.

“Lifting the dome roof calls for precision at height and an uncompromising focus on safety, and our team is committed to delivering both throughout the project,” said Ta Van Thu, Site Operation Team Leader at Denzai Vietnam Corp.

He added that the company was proud to contribute to what is set to become one of Hanoi’s major new sporting venues.

Denzai is scheduled to complete its lifting scope in June 2027, one month ahead of the planned completion of the wider stadium project.
