Boran Uzun has been appointed Group CEO of Hareket, effective 5 October 2026, as the heavy transport and lifting specialist prepares for its next phase of international growth.

Uzun takes over the role from Abdullah Altunkum, who will continue with Hareket as a Board Member and shareholder, focusing on long-term strategy, transformation, business development, new markets and growth opportunities.

Uzun brings extensive international management experience across manufacturing, logistics, supply chain and consumer industries. He began his career at Procter & Gamble, holding senior positions across Germany, France, Türkiye and the United States for more than a decade.

He later served as Deputy General Manager for Domino’s operations in Türkiye and Russia, CEO of MNG Kargo and CEO of Polonez-Trakya Et, where he led the company’s restructuring.

In his new position, Uzun will oversee Hareket’s operations across three continents and lead implementation of the company’s growth strategy towards its 2030 objectives.

The leadership transition will see Altunkum concentrate on Hareket’s longer-term development after playing a central role in the company’s international expansion.

The appointment comes as Hareket continues to develop its global presence in engineered heavy transport, lifting and project logistics.
