Bulk Cargo-Port Szczecin has added its first Terex TRT90 rough terrain crane, strengthening lifting capability across its multipurpose terminal operations in Poland.
Supplied by Terex dealer EWPA, the 90-tonne crane will support a range of activities across the Port of Szczecin, including the handling of steel and sheet products as well as equipment and infrastructure maintenance.
The TRT90 combines a maximum lifting capacity of 90 tonnes with a 47-metre main boom and maximum boom tip height of 49.5 metres.
Its compact dimensions, fast setup and multiple steering modes, including crab steering, allow the crane to manoeuvre efficiently across busy terminal areas and uneven surfaces.
A key advantage for port operations is its pick-and-carry capability, enabling loads to be lifted and transported directly between working areas without the need for additional handling.
Bulk Cargo is the largest multipurpose operator within the ports of Szczecin and Świnoujście, operating eight quays extending around 2,800 metres and handling approximately 4.5 million tonnes of cargo annually.
“The model, with its substantial lifting capacity, presents good mobility and versatility, all required to support our client’s diverse year-round operations across the terminal,” said Przemysław Grzeszczyk, Cranes Sales Department Manager at EWPA.
The TRT90 is also equipped for year-round operation with additional cab, engine block, hydraulic oil tank and fuel filter heating systems, together with an automatic centralised lubrication system.
Operator visibility is supported by winch, side and rear-view cameras, while the TEOS control system provides access to crane settings, diagnostics and predictive maintenance functions.
The delivery highlights the use of rough terrain cranes beyond traditional construction sites, with the TRT90 bringing mobility and heavy lifting capability to demanding port and logistics operations.
