Royal Niestern Sander has delivered a new 14,000 dwt EasyMax vessel to Wagenborg, marking another step in the operator’s ongoing fleet renewal programme.
The vessel, yard number 855, will enter service as m.v. Ariane and represents the sixth unit in the EasyMax series built for Wagenborg. The delivery underlines the long standing cooperation between the shipowner and the Dutch shipyard.
The newbuild recently completed sea trials, confirming its readiness for commercial operations. In the coming days, the crew will finalise preparations ahead of the vessel’s maiden voyage to Hamburg.
The EasyMax design is tailored for efficient and flexible cargo operations, supporting Wagenborg’s focus on modern, fuel efficient tonnage capable of operating across a wide range of trades.
The vessel is expected to begin operations shortly, contributing to Wagenborg’s transport capacity and service reliability.
