Bertling Indonesia has successfully completed the transport of a 750HP land rig from a staging area to a drilling site, demonstrating its expertise in complex project logistics operations.
The project involved moving more than 4,000 cubic metres of equipment across 105 packages. Operations were carried out while dismantling activities were still ongoing, requiring precise coordination and the deployment of cranes, forklifts and specialized trailers to ensure a smooth transition to the well location.
Among the key challenges was handling the heaviest component, the main truck rig carrier, which weighed 58 tonnes and measured 16.5 metres in length, 3.4 metres in width and 3.5 metres in height. Careful planning and equipment selection were essential to safely transport this oversized load.
Despite more than three weeks of wet weather conditions, the project was completed on schedule. Detailed preparation and close coordination between teams enabled continuous operations while maintaining safety standards.
The successful execution highlights Bertling Indonesia’s capability to manage large-scale and technically demanding logistics projects. The company emphasized that the operation reflects its commitment to delivering efficient, safe and reliable solutions in challenging environments.
