CEVA Logistics has opened a new warehouse in Dubai South Free Zone, a fast-growing logistics hub for the UAE and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The new facility will support CEVA’s customers with efficient and scalable logistics solutions.
Targeted mainly at eCommerce operations, the multi-user contract logistics site spans 23,000 square meters and features 20-metre-high ceilings. The warehouse also focuses on sustainability, with LED lighting throughout, cardboard and plastic recycling stations, and 1,600 m² of solar panels to help reduce its carbon footprint.
Due to high customer demand, CEVA’s local teams reopen quickly implemented the warehouse layout and operational setup within just a few weeks. The facility is already processing more than 30,000 units per day. According to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, eCommerce is forecast to generate $8 billion in sales in 2025.
Antonio Munoz, vice president of contract logistics, IMEA at CEVA Logistics, said the Dubai South project highlights CEVA’s ability to adapt, innovate, and deliver responsive logistics solutions for customers.
