Tadano Ltd. has announced key senior management changes to strengthen its European leadership team. The updates apply to its German operations—Tadano Demag GmbH in Zweibrücken and Tadano Faun GmbH in Lauf—and their subsidiaries, while recently acquired Manitex operations in Italy will remain under existing management.

Effective October 1, Noriaki Yashiro will become president and CEO of Tadano Demag and Tadano Faun, assuming full responsibility for Tadano’s European business. With the completion of its production transfer in Germany, the company is shifting its focus toward growth, supported by reinforced leadership.

On the same date, Dean Barley, who also leads Tadano America Corp., Manitex International and Tadano Mantis Corp., will oversee European sales, customer support, marketing and quality control. Hiroyuki Goda, CTO of Tadano Ltd., will take charge of research and development for mobile crane engineering in Europe, ensuring innovation remains anchored at the German sites. Meanwhile, Stefan Matthaei will oversee production, logistics and purchasing across the Zweibrücken and Lauf facilities.

“These additions bring the right experience to drive growth in Europe,” said Tadano Ltd. President and CEO, Toshiaki Ujiie.Customer needs are at the heart of these leadership changes, and their goal is to strengthen confidence of our European customers in Tadano.”

The announcement follows multimillion-euro investments at Tadano’s German sites. In Zweibrücken, the company has expanded land, added a new repair workshop, upgraded production and improved logistics. In Lauf, a new European spare parts center is under construction, scheduled to open in 2026 alongside expanded production and storage capacity.
