Wallenius Wilhelmsen has announced the appointment of Bjørnar Bukholm as Chief Financial Officer, marking his return to the company. Bukholm, who will assume his new role by May 1, 2025, brings extensive industry knowledge and a strong track record in strategic finance.

Bukholm, who has been serving as CFO at Sector Alarm since 2019, previously spent nearly eight years with Wallenius Wilhelmsen in roles spanning business development, strategy, finance, and investor relations. When he departed in 2019, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance, Strategy & Investor Relations.

Jermund Lien, currently SVP Global Business Performance Management, will act as interim CFO starting November 1, following the departure of outgoing CFO Torbjørn Wist, who will leave the company on December 1, 2024.
