Goldhofer has taken a significant step in widening its Sales and Service network in Southern Europe through a strategic partnership with Trainar Semirremolques, an experienced company based in Northern Spain.
As of June 2023, Trainar Semirremolques has been officially appointed as the exclusive Goldhofer Sales and Service representative for Spain and Portugal. The collaboration aims to provide customers in the region with fast and efficient support, backed by Trainar’s extensive range of services. Dennis Leschensky, Director of Sales Europe / North Africa at Goldhofer, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, stating, “We are honored to have gained such a well-experienced and established partner for our customers in this region. Trainar brings a wealth of expertise and a commitment to delivering exceptional services.”
Trainar Semirremolques has a rich history, having been founded by Juan José Macías in 1989. With over 15 years of prior experience in advising and selling semi-trailers for special transport, Juan José Macías established the Trainar brand. Over the years, Trainar expanded its offerings, selling and manufacturing customized trailers until 1997. The company later forged a successful collaboration with a reputable semitrailer manufacturer and introduced heavy-duty modules to its product range. Now boasting more than 45 years of experience, Trainar is well-equipped to offer expert guidance to customers in purchasing, maintaining, and selling special transport equipment.
The partnership with Goldhofer has further strengthened Trainar’s portfolio, enabling the company to offer a comprehensive range of Goldhofer’s trailers, semi-trailers, heavy-duty modules, and special applications.
The benefits of this collaboration extend to customers in Spain and Portugal, who can expect a wide array of services aimed at ensuring operational excellence. Besides their core competency of selling new and used vehicles, Trainar provides documentation services for obtaining permits (such as TÜV, SERT, or Scheda Tecnica) and modification files for Technical Inspection Cards, essential when incorporating additions like extension beams for low loaders after initial registration. The company also offers training for operators during delivery, as well as plans and tools for implementing preventive maintenance programs. Additionally, Trainar takes responsibility for managing customers’ spare parts inventories, while also offering repair and maintenance services through its own workshop.
