Swiss tower crane rental specialist Interkran has strengthened its fleet with an order for 18 Raimondi flat top tower cranes, supporting growing demand across the country’s construction sector.
The order comprises seven MRT159 cranes, five MRT189 units, one MRT234 and five MRT294 models. The first ten cranes have already been delivered, including two MRT294-16t, seven MRT159-8t units and one MRT234, and are now operating on projects throughout Switzerland.
“We are reinforcing the company’s ability to support construction projects across the Swiss market by continuing to invest in our fleet with several new Raimondi cranes,” said Antonio Teixeira, General Manager of Interkran.
With a fleet of around 250 Raimondi cranes, Interkran continues to consolidate its position in the Swiss tower crane rental market. The company selected the new models for their lifting performance, versatility, strong load charts and ease of installation, making them suitable for a wide range of demanding applications.
The first ten cranes have already been deployed on residential developments in north eastern Switzerland, where efficient assembly, flexibility and high lifting performance are essential. The remaining eight units are scheduled for delivery in the coming weeks and will be assigned to major infrastructure projects across the country.
The latest investment further strengthens the long standing partnership between Interkran and Raimondi, which has served as the Swiss distributor for the Italian manufacturer for more than 20 years.
“The collaboration between Raimondi Cranes and Interkran continues to reflect a shared focus on performance, reliability, and long term growth within the European heavy lifting industry,” commented Luigi Maggioni, Group CEO of Raimondi.
