Founded in 1968, Officine Lorenzina is a global supplier of large-scale mechanical carpentry solutions, producing key components for hydroelectric plants and offshore applications, including rotor hubs, stator frames and pile sleeves.
To enhance operations at its Masera facility near Domodossola, Italy, the company has introduced a 2-axle Eco1000 Diesel unit (55 kW) from Cometto. The vehicle features an integrated Power Pack Unit positioned beneath the loading platform, allowing for a compact overall length of 5,600 mm and improved manoeuvrability within the plant.
Equipped with an electronic steering system and a 700 mm stroke, the transporter ensures precise and efficient handling of heavy and oversized components. This enables smoother internal logistics processes while maintaining high safety standards.
Cometto highlighted its commitment to supporting Officine Lorenzina in optimising heavy-load handling and improving operational efficiency.
