The MAX710 lowbed trailer has proven itself as an efficient and reliable solution for demanding heavy transport applications, according to experienced driver Reiner Elferink, who has spent more than 30 years in the heavy-duty transport sector. Used primarily for the transport of construction machinery, the trailer combines compact dimensions with operational flexibility, delivering clear advantages in everyday use.
Elferink highlights the MAX710’s straightforward operation and short set-up times as key benefits, particularly in time-sensitive construction logistics. These features contribute to improved efficiency and reduced downtime, both critical factors in daily transport operations. The trailer is regularly used for end-to-end transport of heavy construction equipment and has performed consistently across a wide range of assignments.

During a recent operation, the MAX710 was tasked with transporting a 56-tonne crusher to a quartz sand quarry near Haltern am See. The final access route to the site included uneven ground, narrow passages and tight bends—conditions typical of construction and quarry environments. Equipped with 19.5-inch pendle axles offering high lift and a large steering angle, the MAX710 maintained stability and precise tracking throughout the journey, even in restricted terrain.
At the unloading site, the compact design of the trailer proved advantageous. The removable front bogie was uncoupled quickly and efficiently, simplifying the unloading process and minimising handling time. Despite operating in a multi-axle configuration, the overall vehicle length remains below 23 metres, enabling access to confined sites that often pose challenges for heavy transport combinations.

From an operational perspective, the MAX710 has quickly established itself as a valuable asset within the fleet. Its robust construction and full metallisation provide effective corrosion protection, supporting long-term durability in harsh working environments such as construction sites and quarries. This focus on durability and practicality ensures reliability over extended service life.
Overall, the MAX710 lowbed trailer combines compact design, user-friendly operation and technical robustness. For operators focused on efficiency, flexibility and long-term performance in heavy-duty transport, it represents a well-balanced solution suited to modern construction and industrial logistics.
