Seaway7, a subsidiary of the Subsea7 Group and a global specialist in fixed offshore wind installation, has been awarded a sizeable contract by Ocean Winds for the BC-Wind development in Poland.

Located approximately 23 kilometres off the Polish Baltic Sea coast, the BC-Wind offshore wind farm will comprise 26 wind turbine generators. Seaway7’s scope includes the transport and installation of 26 transition pieces and the project’s offshore substation. Offshore installation activities are expected to begin in 2027.

“We are looking forward to supporting Ocean Winds on the BC-Wind project and being able to continue contributing to the Polish offshore wind targets with our third contract award in this market,” said Stuart Fitzgerald, CEO of Seaway7.
