AER Rents has officially opened a new multi-brand depot at the Metropolitan Business Park in Newcastle, marking a major milestone in the Group’s expansion strategy. The facility will bring together Chippindale Hire & Sales, Welfare 4 Hire, and Hudson Lifting, offering a full spectrum of hire and sales solutions to support regional industries and customers.
The site expands Chippindale Hire & Sales’ local presence with additional space for plant, site cabins, attachments, and a dedicated tool hire building. Welfare 4 Hire’s move from Birtley boosts capacity and facilities, backing continued investment in welfare and toilet units and supporting its push into the Scottish market.
Marking its first North East location, Hudson Lifting adds to its national footprint after launching three depots in 2024. This move reinforces its UK-wide commitment to specialist lifting equipment and services.
