Hyster will spotlight scalable clean power technologies for high-capacity port equipment at TOC Europe 2025, held from 17–19 June at Rotterdam Ahoy, the Netherlands. Visitors can explore Hyster’s latest innovations aimed at boosting efficiency and sustainability in port and terminal operations.

A major highlight will be the new Hyster J10-18XD series of integrated lithium-ion high-capacity forklifts. These electric lift trucks offer performance on par with internal combustion engine (ICE) alternatives, while delivering zero emissions and lower total cost of ownership. Scalable battery configurations allow operators to tailor power output to meet specific duty cycles and charging needs. All models come standard with a Combined Charging System (CCS).

When used in the right application and with the appropriate infrastructure, the J10-18XD series can significantly reduce maintenance, eliminate tailpipe emissions, and cut operational costs. “We are committed to delivering clean power solutions that enhance both efficiency and sustainability,” says Junior van Remortele, Director, Big Trucks EMEA at Hyster. “Our new electric forklift series is a leap forward for ports aiming to reduce their carbon footprint.”

Beyond lithium-ion power, Hyster will provide expert insights into a range of energy options for port equipment, including hydrogen fuel cells, HVO100 fuel, and traditional diesel. The goal is to help ports meet environmental targets without compromising on performance or operator comfort.

Visitors can also engage with Hyster’s emissions reduction calculator tool to estimate the potential CO₂ savings from transitioning from LPG or diesel to electric lift trucks.
