VINCI Construction has secured two significant transport infrastructure contracts for the Czech Ministry of Transport.
A consortium including VINCI subsidiaries Eurovia CZ and Stavby mostů (50%) alongside Austria’s PORR (50%) will construct a 12.6 km section of Prague’s eastern ring road. Valued at €385 million, the project, set to begin in Q1 2025 and finish by 2027, includes 19 bridges, two tunnels, and infrastructure for pedestrians, cyclists, and noise reduction.
In Bohemia, Eurovia CZ will modernize the rail hub at Česká Třebová, Central Europe’s largest freight station. The €663 million project, starting in Q1 2025 and completing by 2032, will refurbish tracks and integrate the European Train Control System (ETCS), with materials transported by rail to reduce environmental impact.
