Raimondi Middle East has deployed seven MRT159 flat-top tower cranes to support the construction of one of Dubai’s most anticipated residential districts.
Wael Hasan, General Manager of Raimondi Middle East, emphasized the cranes’ suitability for the site’s narrow layout and logistical challenges. “The ease of installation and strong lifting performance made the MRT159 ideal for this project,” he stated, noting a detailed positioning and safety study was conducted beforehand.
Installed between July and October, the cranes feature jib lengths of 38m to 44m, freestanding heights up to 51m, and an 8-ton maximum lifting capacity. Equipped with a 30kW hoisting gear, they lift at speeds up to 80m/min with a drum capacity of 440m.
The cranes will remain onsite for 15 months to support the construction of 326 residential units spread across five storeys. Luigi Maggioni, Raimondi Group CEO, highlighted the deployment as a testament to Raimondi’s commitment to delivering tailored lifting solutions for key GCC projects.
