BAE Systems Expands Fleet with 156 Cometto MSPE Axle Lines

BAE Systems is bolstering its transport capabilities at its Jacksonville, Florida site with 156 axle lines of Cometto MSPE self-propelled units. These vehicles will support vessel construction projects, showcasing Cometto’s MSPE Evo3 series—renowned for its 70-ton payload capacity per axle line.

A BAE Systems team recently conducted the first acceptance test at Cometto’s Cuneo facility. The fleet, equipped with patented pendulum suspension, tubeless tire technology, and five Power Pack Units (368 kW each), ensures reliable performance for heavy loads under challenging conditions.
