Sealution, a specialist in maritime connectivity, has earned Type Approval from Lloyd’s Register for its plug-and-play Gateway, meeting top safety and performance standards.
The Gateway enhances below-deck connectivity by combining wired reliability with wireless flexibility, ensuring the smooth flow of critical data. Easily installed without vessel modifications, it integrates with a standard smoke detector.
CEO Sebastian Hamers called the approval a “significant milestone” for Sealution, as the Gateway supports various sensors, aiding ships in complying with CO2 regulations and improving operations. Lloyd’s Register praised it for boosting efficiency and regulatory compliance in shipping.
