Konecranes has clinched a substantial order for 35 CXT overhead cranes from Chinese filter press manufacturer, Jingjin Equipment Inc. This significant contract is aimed at bolstering the operations of Jingjin Equipment’s recently established manufacturing facility in Dezhou, China. The order, which was officially logged in August 2023, highlights Konecranes’ unwavering commitment to providing advanced lifting equipment for diverse industrial applications.
The assortment of cranes encompasses a versatile range of lifting solutions, including 5- and 10-ton CXT single girder cranes, 30-ton CXT double girder cranes, and a 5-ton CXT semi gantry crane. These powerful cranes will play an integral role in the customer’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, where they will be engaged in the production and assembly of plunger pumps and filter presses. These components are vital in processes related to sludge dewatering and wastewater treatment, addressing pressing environmental and industrial challenges.
In addition to supplying these top-tier cranes, Konecranes is also entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the delivery and installation process. This turnkey approach ensures a seamless and efficient integration of the cranes into Jingjin Equipment’s manufacturing infrastructure, minimizing any operational disruptions.
This latest order marks another milestone in the enduring partnership between Konecranes and Jingjin Equipment, a collaboration that dates back to 2016. Over the years, nearly 200 overhead cranes have been successfully delivered and commissioned.
