CMCO has launched a major update to its Crosby Straightpoint HHP App, introducing new wireless load monitoring, reporting and connectivity features for lifting professionals.
The latest version of the HHP3 App connects via Bluetooth to Crosby Straightpoint load cells, providing real-time load monitoring directly from a mobile device while expanding functionality for testing and lifting operations.
Developed in response to customer feedback, the update enables users to connect up to eight Bluetooth load cells simultaneously, subject to device capability, making it easier to manage complex lifting applications. Logging performance has also been enhanced, with data capture rates of up to 3Hz for more accurate monitoring.
A new text-to-speech function provides spoken load announcements through the mobile device, allowing operators to receive real-time audio feedback while keeping their attention on the lift.
Reporting has also been upgraded with Microsoft Excel export, expanded sharing options and the ability to add photographs directly to reports for improved documentation and traceability. Additional features include saved templates, log imports, adjustable device thresholds, configurable work shifts, custom device names and selectable weight units.
To support its international customer base, the HHP3 App is now available in Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Norwegian and Spanish.
According to CMCO, the latest enhancements are designed to simplify workflows, improve reporting capabilities and give users greater flexibility when carrying out load monitoring and testing operations. The updated HHP3 App is now available through supported app stores.
