Eiffage Énergie Systèmes has strengthened its footprint in Italy with the acquisition of 70% of Socotis, a specialist in climate control and energy engineering for the commercial and industrial markets.
The transaction was completed through Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ Italian subsidiary Elettromeccanica Galli Italo, a company that is 51% owned by the Eiffage Group. Socotis employs 64 people and, in 2024, generated revenues of €45 million.
Based in the Milan region in northern Italy, Socotis further reinforces Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ position as a multi-technology provider in the country. The acquisition also expands the group’s capability to deliver energy-efficiency solutions, as demand continues to grow rapidly across the sector.
In addition, Socotis strengthens Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ expertise portfolio in Italy through its recognised experience in delivering turnkey controlled environments, particularly for the pharma and cosmetics industries.
