TII KAMAG has introduced the ePrecisionTractor 201 (ePT 201), its first fully electric terminal tractor designed for flexible and efficient movement of semi-trailers in yard logistics. Based on the proven PT series, the new model features an electro-mechanical drive system that delivers precise manoeuvring and high energy efficiency, replacing the previous hydrostatic diesel version.

The integrated direct power transmission enables exceptionally smooth and accurate handling, particularly useful when coupling trailers or operating in tight spaces. “With the ePT 201, we offer our customers an electrical alternative that combines economic efficiency with sustainability,” said Godehard Eidenhammer, Head of Sales Yard Logistics at TII KAMAG.It’s a practical solution for companies looking to electrify their internal transport processes without compromising on performance.”

Designed for logistics centres and production plants, the ePT 201 operates with zero local emissions and low noise, making it well suited for night shifts and noise-sensitive environments. Its environmentally friendly operation supports companies in meeting ESG and sustainability targets in intralogistics.

The vehicle is powered by a lithium-ion high-voltage battery, available in 160 kWh or 240 kWh versions. Active thermal management automatically regulates the temperature of both the battery and the cab, ensuring consistent performance in ambient conditions ranging from –20 °C to +45 °C. An optional 150 kW DC fast-charging function allows the ePT 201 to recharge during short breaks or shift changes, while regenerative braking reduces energy consumption and component wear.

Drivers benefit from a spacious, ergonomically designed cab featuring fingertip controls and improved visibility to the front and the fifth wheel coupling. This layout ensures precise under-trailer manoeuvring and efficient shunting operations, combining comfort with productivity.
