What began as a one-man operation has grown into a powerhouse: the MAXIKraft Group now employs 500 people across 26 locations. Over its 33-year history, the company has added 1,000 cranes from Liebherr  to its fleet, with lifting capacities ranging from 30 to 1,000 tonnes.

Founded in February 1992 by Maik Kanitzky in Züllsdorf, Brandenburg, MAXIKraft has expanded steadily, guided by technical foresight and a dedication to quality. Today, the group includes five companies, most recently strengthened by the acquisition of KRANprofis Allgäu GmbH.

The company’s fleet now features around 200 mobile cranes and numerous lattice boom cranes capable of lifting up to 1,000 tonnes. Kanitzky’s principle has remained unchanged: equip teams and customers with the most modern technology available. “We usually replace our mobile cranes every three years,” he notes. “Highly qualified employees, reliable partners and innovative machines are the foundation of our success. Liebherr has delivered the right technology and support for more than three decades.”

Liebherr’s ongoing technological advancements play a central role in MAXIKraft’s operations. Key innovations include VarioBase, VarioBallast, VarioTray and the hydraulically adjustable V-Frame system. These solutions improve safety, flexibility and efficiency across daily lifting operations.

Strong, long-term partnerships remain at the heart of MAXIKraft’s strategy — whether with customers, suppliers, banks or its own employees. Many staff members have been with the company for years, including those who joined through acquisitions.

MAXIKraft specialises in crane services and heavy transport across seven German federal states. With over 200 cranes, 70 heavy-duty trucks and extensive lifting and transport capabilities, the group serves a broad range of industrial and construction applications.
