Brazilian heavy haulage and crane specialist Cunzolo Máquinas e Equipamentos Ltda. has expanded its fleet with a new Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane. The 5-axle, 230-tonne model will primarily support the assembly of tower cranes and industrial maintenance projects, strengthening Cunzolo’s position in Brazil’s industrial and construction sectors.
Based in São José dos Campos, Cunzolo focuses on the rental, operation and maintenance of lifting and transport equipment for construction and industrial applications. The company selected the LTM 1230-5.1 for its high performance, reach and advanced features, including Liebherr’s VarioBallast counterweight system and multiple operating modes that enhance flexibility on complex job sites.
“The choice was made in favour of the Liebherr mobile crane because of its modern technical features,” said Marcos Cunzolo, Director of Cunzolo. “With a load capacity of up to 230 tonnes and a maximum lifting height of 111 metres, it is perfectly suited for demanding projects such as lifting air-conditioning systems, heavy components and structural elements in industrial settings.”
