FB Chain, a Hertfordshire-based specialist in leaf chain technology, has been recognised with the King’s Award for Enterprise, the UK’s highest business honour, for its achievements in international trade.
The award was formally presented to Managing Director Peter Church by Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire Robert Voss CBE CStJ. It acknowledges FB Chain’s sustained growth in overseas markets and its contribution to exporting British innovation and engineering worldwide.
For 40 years, FB Chain has been a trusted supply chain partner for OEMs in the forklift, telehandler, and MEWP sectors, while also serving the aftermarket with replacement chains and wear measurement tools. Its innovations, such as pre-fitted leaf chain assembly kits and just-in-time delivery, have streamlined installation processes for manufacturers, reducing costs, waste, and downtime.
Another milestone product, the FB Professional Chain Wear Gauge, has become an international inspection standard, offering precise 0.25% wear readings to help technicians plan timely replacements, improving safety and efficiency.
