Cummins Announces Retirement of Srikanth Padmanabhan

Cummins Inc. has announced the retirement of Srikanth Padmanabhan, Executive Vice President and President – Operations, effective April 4. After 34 years with the company, his departure marks the end of a distinguished career.

Since joining Cummins in 1991, Srikanth has held leadership roles across manufacturing, emissions solutions, and the engine business, driving innovation and global expansion. He played a key role in developing Cummins HELM fuel-agnostic platforms and strengthening industry partnerships during the energy transition.

Chair and CEO Jennifer Rumsey praised his contributions, stating, “His leadership and dedication have left an indelible impact on Cummins.”

Beyond his professional achievements, Srikanth has been an advocate for diversity and education, supporting community initiatives, including first-generation college scholarships and cultural projects. His legacy at Cummins will be defined by his commitment to sustainability, innovation, and inclusion.
