Tekmar Energy, a division of Tekmar Group and a provider of offshore energy solutions, has secured a £5 million contract for a UK-based offshore wind farm project.
The contract covers the design and supply of Tekmar’s Generation 10 cable protection system (CPS), along with ancillary components such as cable hang-off clamps. The project is set to commence immediately, with completion scheduled for 2025.
Tekmar Group’s Newton Aycliffe facility will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and assembly process, reinforcing the company’s commitment to UK-based production.
