Gary Keville Transport Welcomes Ireland’s First CombiMAX Trailer

Rate this post

A new chapter in Irish heavy haulage has begun as Gary Keville Transport Ltd. (GKT) takes delivery of its latest trailer combination—the first CombiMAX in Ireland.

Designed to handle a wide range of cargo, particularly long and heavy freight such as railway vehicles, the new CombiMAX setup enhances GKT’s transport capabilities. To achieve this, the company has added a double-extendable Add-on-Beam to its 4-axle and 6-axle CombiMAX bogies, which are equipped with 17.5” pendle-axles. This advanced feature makes the CombiMAX the only modular system on the market that can also function as an extendable semi low loader.

A standout feature of Keville’s new setup is the Add-on-Beam, which extends the trailer by an impressive 14,320mm—a game-changer in the transportation of extra-long cargo. To ensure seamless integration and operation, trainer Kris conducted a multi-day training session with the GKT team in Ireland, providing in-depth technical insights.

Founded in 1999, Gary Keville Transport has built a strong reputation as one of Ireland’s leading heavy haulage and abnormal load specialists. Strategically based near the M50 in North Dublin, the company’s headquarters will now serve as the launchpad for the CombiMAX to take on complex heavy transport missions across Ireland and beyond.
