MCS Rental Software has introduced a new payment management enhancement for its RM Web rental management platform, designed to simplify invoicing and payment tracking for rental businesses.
The latest update allows users to view and manage all customer payments within a single interface, improving visibility across paid and outstanding invoices. A colour-coded system highlights completed payments in green, while unpaid invoices are marked in red for faster identification and follow-up.
The enhanced functionality also enables rental teams to collect payments, redistribute balances and apply credit notes directly through the platform, streamlining day-to-day financial processes.
A further addition allows payment links to be embedded directly into invoice documents. Customers can use the link to complete payments quickly online, with the invoice status automatically updated in RM Web once payment has been received.
Nick Thomson, chief sales officer at MCS Rental Software, said the update was designed to make digital payment management faster and easier for rental companies.
According to the company, the new feature forms part of its ongoing investment in web-based rental management technology and supports the continued development of the MCS-rm platform for the modern rental industry.
