Marketing in Maritime has launched a new annual MiMbership programme aimed at supporting education, professional development and networking opportunities for marketing and communications professionals across the maritime and energy sectors.

The specialist community has rapidly grown since its creation, building a professional network of more than 15,000 members, welcoming over 2,000 event attendees and engaging professionals from more than 250 organisations worldwide.

The new initiative transforms Marketing in Maritime into a year round learning and networking platform, combining online resources with live industry events. The expanded programme includes quarterly MiM Masterclass webinars, additional networking events, informal MiM Meets gatherings and dedicated MiM Lounges at major exhibitions and trade shows.

At the centre of the programme is a newly launched online portal featuring a member forum, educational content, expert insights and a growing library of videos, podcasts, marketing guides and practical resources designed specifically for maritime marketers.

Andy Ford, Director of Marketing in Maritime, said the platform aims to combine networking with expert led learning to help professionals stay ahead of rapidly evolving marketing technologies and industry trends.

Kae Ley Brann, Business Manager at Marketing in Maritime, added that the initiative provides valuable support for marketers at every stage of their careers while helping companies strengthen their communication strategies and business growth.

The organisation is also supported by an advisory board of eight industry professionals, including Lloyd’s Register Global Client Marketing Director Mark Warner, who highlighted the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the maritime marketing community.

The programme offers free, digital and full membership levels, while sponsorship opportunities are also available for companies seeking to support professional upskilling and industry collaboration.
