Enerpac adds diesel split flow pumps

Enerpac has expanded its Heavy Lifting Technology portfolio following the acquisition of Canadian manufacturer Hydra-Pac, Inc., introducing a new range of split flow diesel pumps for demanding jobsite conditions.

The move strengthens Enerpac’s offering for infrastructure, power generation, and remote projects where access to reliable external power is limited. Split flow pumps are critical in heavy lifting and skidding operations, enabling synchronised control of multiple hydraulic cylinders to safely handle uneven loads.

Traditionally, such operations have relied on external generators, requiring complex cabling and additional planning. The newly introduced Split Flow Pump – Diesel (SFP-D) removes this dependency by providing a self-contained solution, simplifying setup and reducing logistical challenges.

The system also delivers higher flow speeds, enabling faster yet controlled lifting operations while improving overall efficiency on site.

Carsten Daft, Product Manager at Enerpac, said the new range allows operators to reduce jobsite complexity and operate independently of fixed power infrastructure. He added that the solution can lower total project costs by reducing equipment requirements and increasing operational speed.

Under the agreement, Enerpac Tool Group has acquired all assets related to Hydra-Pac’s product lines, including diesel, propane, and electric split flow pumps, along with associated equipment.

The acquisition reinforces Enerpac’s position in the global heavy lifting market while expanding its capabilities in self-powered hydraulic solutions.
