Edwards Moving and Rigging has announced a major expansion of its heavy-lift and specialized transport fleet with the acquisition of new Goldhofer AD-Drive modules and an Enerpac SBL900 hydraulic gantry system. The investment marks a significant step in strengthening the company’s capacity to deliver safe, efficient and innovative solutions across complex transport and lifting operations.
The new Goldhofer AD-Drives boost the performance of Edwards’ self-propelled modular trailer fleet, enhancing maneuverability, traction and overall precision in confined or challenging environments. The upgraded SPMT capability increases operational efficiency and supports a wider range of heavy-haul applications.

Complementing this, the Enerpac SBL900 gantry adds powerful lifting capability with a capacity of up to 900 tons. The system enables controlled, high-capacity lifts in locations where the use of conventional cranes is limited or impractical, making it ideal for industrial installations, plant maintenance, equipment replacement and turnkey project execution.
“This investment represents our commitment to supporting our customers’ most challenging projects while ensuring we remain at the forefront of heavy-lift and transport innovation,” said Tobias Epple, Director of Sales. “Expanding our fleet with state-of-the-art Goldhofer and Enerpac equipment positions us for sustainable growth while delivering unmatched capability and performance.”
The expanded fleet is expected to increase project capacity, improve lead times and further reinforce Edwards Moving and Rigging’s position as a leading provider in the heavy-transport and lifting sector. The company continues to invest in advanced technology to support major infrastructure, energy, industrial and construction projects across the region.
