“Our maintenance sessions are structured, thorough, and aligned with both international and regional industry standards,” explains Muath Bani-Issa, Senior Operations Manager at Raimondi Middle East. “They involve visual inspections, lubrication, torque checks, safety device testing, and meticulous recordkeeping.”
Each crane undergoes a detailed review of both its mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance on site. A full maintenance session typically takes two to three hours per crane. Key components such as wire ropes, slewing rings, brakes, hoist systems, limit switches, and mast bolts receive particular attention due to the high stress they endure.
Safety remains at the core of every inspection. The team performs extensive checks on limit switches, overload devices, and emergency stop mechanisms to confirm calibration accuracy and ensure that every crane responds precisely under load.
“Regular monthly maintenance acts as a safeguard for onsite construction teams while securing long-term machine performance even beyond project completion,” Bani-Issa adds.
