Hareket has successfully completed the heavy lifting operations for the Ramhan Island Bridge project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, marking a major milestone in the infrastructure development. The company lifted 24 bridge girders, each weighing 95 tons, as part of this critical phase.
For this operation, Hareket deployed a 2,200-ton capacity crawler crane, a solution chosen over traditional barge cranes. This innovative approach proved to be both more efficient and cost-effective, eliminating the need for marine equipment and significantly reducing logistical complexity.
The use of the crawler crane allowed Hareket to meet all technical and safety requirements while also achieving a reduction in the overall project cost.
