As costs surge across Belgium’s festival industry—up 67% over the past decade—logistics efficiency has become essential to profitability. Sarens has emerged as a strategic partner to top events like Tomorrowland and Rock Werchter, ensuring fast, safe, and cost-effective infrastructure assembly.

Belgium hosts over 400 festivals each summer, drawing around 5 million visitors. With ticket prices rising by 5–8% and average attendee spending now at €426, organisers face growing pressure to manage expenses and ensure returns. That’s where Sarens steps in.

The company played a critical role in the emergency rebuild of Tomorrowland’s main stage in 2025, completed in just 24 hours after a fire destroyed it days before the event. Sarens deployed high-capacity cranes and expert crews to dismantle the damaged structure and erect a new one at record speed.

For previous editions of Tomorrowland, Sarens provided telescopic cranes with load capacities of up to 250 tonnes to assemble the massive 270-metre-wide, 53-metre-high main stage. These operations, managed from its headquarters in Wolvertem, demonstrate the company’s ability to meet complex logistical demands under tight timelines.

“In a context where Belgian festivals mobilise millions of attendees and generate hundreds of millions in revenue, logistical efficiency becomes a critical profitability factor,” said Bart Minen, Country Manager for Sarens Belgium.

Sarens also supports industrial projects like Citrosuco in Ghent and biodiesel infrastructure for Cargill, showcasing its versatility.

With Belgium’s construction sector expected to hit USD 27.33 billion by 2025, Sarens continues to deliver vital support to both entertainment and industrial sectors—helping organisers reduce risks, control costs, and deliver unforgettable experiences.
