Autokrane Werner Spallek GmbH & Co. KG, based in Ibbenbüren, Germany, has expanded its fleet with the addition of a new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 mobile crane. Featuring a 90-metre telescopic boom, the 300-tonne powerhouse is already making an impact in the field, notably dismantling a tower crane in Osnabrück with precision and efficiency.

“The LTM 1300-6.3 gives us new heights in lifting capacity, thanks to its long boom and compact transport configuration,” said Philipp Spallek, representing the company’s second generation. Its 12-tonne axle load road capability and hydraulically adjustable 20-metre folding jib allow for lifting heights up to 110 metres—without the need for additional fixed jibs.

This 6-axle crane brings advanced features including VarioBase®Plus, VarioBallast®, Auto-Ballast, and Windspeed Load Charts, ensuring flexible, safe, and efficient operations even in space-constrained urban sites. During its first deployment, the crane managed a 9.2-tonne load at a 42-metre radius, completing the job within a day.

Spallek’s diverse client base across construction, industry, energy, and infrastructure will benefit from the crane’s versatility—especially in tasks like assembling and dismantling tower cranes and pylons, with reduced personnel and transport costs.

A loyal Liebherr customer for 35 years, Spallek’s entire fleet is composed of Liebherr cranes. The company has also ordered an LTM 1110-5.2, due in spring, to further strengthen its 5-axle lineup.

“We value the reliability, performance, and service from Liebherr—it’s an investment in the future,” said Spallek.
